Fire breathers. Race cars. Roman goddesses. Video games. We had it all and then some, at F1RST’s official launch at Zen Nightclub this past Tuesday.
With some help from our corporate sponsors, we brought the app to life by transforming the multiple levels of Zen into a series of interactive stations that illustrated a few of the 18 categories you can search for on F1RST. We could go on and on about how awesome it was but here’s a recap in photos:
The Big News
Digicel COO, Sacha Thompson, made the official announcement of Digicel’s partnership with F1RST!
CEO, Eesa Mohammed (second from left) told the story of how the app came about as a result of a regional vision, global reach, hard work and a long-standing friendship among F1RST’s founders. The other founding members are (L to R), Kiev Wilke, Kyle Maloney and Nicolas Maloney.
With some help from our corporate sponsors we managed to transform Zen into the F1RSTExperience through interactive stations illustrating just a few of the 18 categories you can search for on F1RST.
Upon arrival, guests ‘checked-in’ at the F1RST Departure Lounge, sponsored by Caribbean Airlines and received their passport to begin their journey through the club’s multiple levels.
They sampled tasty gourmet treats from Chaud Cafe & Wine Bar…
And got really excited playing with the Scalextric set in the Auto Zone sponsored by MINI.
Digicel sponsored the Tech Zone where guests could check out the website and app via smartphones and touch screen sets.
Other experiences included Optometrist Today’s Sunglasses & Selfies station; Courts’ designated ‘Man Cave’; Stetcher’s health and beauty station and Fusion Iced Tea and Lucozade came on board to offer refreshing beverages throughout the course of the evening!
The Big Win
And just in case that wasn’t enough, Caribbean Airlines offered a grand prize of two tickets to any CAL destination in the region. Here, CAL’s Senior Marketing Manager, Alicia Cabrera, presents the tickets to the evening’s lucky winner.
Other prizes included a smartphone courtesy Digicel, two hampers from Stetcher’s and three sunglasses from Optometrist Today.
Event host, JW, served as the ideal MC, mixing useful facts about the app and comic relief to keep the audience engaged throughout the night.
Digicel Ambassador, Swappi, delivered a mixed set of old- and new-school soca to get everyone into the spirit of the Carnival season.

We’ve been talking about it for so long its hard to believe its come and gone but what a night it was! At the end of it all, we’re thrilled our guests got to engage with a range of brands, win some great prizes and, most importantly, get a practical understanding of the app’s features and its relevance to their everyday lives.
